Don't bother

I hated this book. It is trivial and poorly written and squanders the opportunity to examine some of the events in the author's past. The anecdotes are pathetically facile and it is also smug on occasion.

The ideal bread maker

This is wonderful! It's compact, easy and intuitive to use and best of all, it has a window so that you can watch it in action and see your bread baking. The loaves we have made so far have been delicious and perfectly baked.

This book was adequate, but the plotting and characters are very dated. It was my first experience of Le Carre and I am told he has written much better books. I will try some more modern ones.
