marmalade vs the tremoloes
both bands are not among the top rated 60s groups , beatles , stones etc , but this album has some great tracks and also some hidden long forgotten gems that deserve to be rediscovered , plenty of tracks at a cheap price , well worth a fiver.

the greatest punk albums before punk existed .
always liked the feelgoods back in the day , back in the night was a great disco hit , i bought "stupidity" and still think its one of the best live albums ever, but never got round to giving the others much of a listen , now 40 years later with wilko back in the news for sadly the wrong reasons i started listening to some tracks here and there and decided to take a chance on this collection of the wilko years , so glad i did , this confirms dr feelgood as the original and best punk band of them all ,all the wilko albums are here , with a bonus cd of extras , theres nothing outstanding on the bonus cd , but enough intresting bits and bobs to make it a worthwhile bonus , the original albums are rock and blues played at 100 mph and crushes the competion outright . , best played at full volume in the car . the dvd has some great clips , i remember watching the geordie scene on a saturday morning , maybe the first time seeing the band .a great tragedy the band werent captured on film more , they look as good as they sound, if youve never heard of dr feelgood and you like rock music with no prisoners taken ,then get this set,they,ll blow you away , forget the pistols or the clash and the rest, the feelgoods didnt dress up/down in safety pins or binbags they walked on stage with their day clothes blasted the music , walked off and into the pub , no messing about as wilko says in the interview our music is for people who want a good time, nuff said

night gallery series 1
we all know the twilight zone is one of the classic tv shows of all time, but after watching each episode a dozen times , this night gallery dvd gives a chance to watch rod serling circa 1970s , a sort of twilight zone in colour , maybe not quite as good , but still a good series for anyone who wondered what rod serling was up to when the twilight zone finished , i enjoyed it and believe sci-fi and horror fans would too . great early 70s hokum.
