A great improvement on spring clips
This is a great improvement on the traditional socket rail with spring clips. Sockets are held horizontally, so the size can be visible, and are easy to remove and replace. I do not know yet if there is any downside to magnetising the sockets slightly: will they pick up swarf, and will that become a nuisance?
The bank of holders for deep sockets, I'm less sure about. I have one set of deep sockets for imperial and metric, but several sets of normal length, together with a collection of odds and ends. This results in a lot of the deep socket holder being wasted space. It would be good if Laser were to offer a single-bank, more compact version of this holder.

Good tool for the money
This is a substantial, well-made shear which works well. The lightweight tubular handle is easily detachable (for safety). However, making a precise square cut is a little hit and miss as there is no guide to help with this. There are several adjustable bolts on the machine of uncertain purpose; there is no manual and the manufacturer was downright unhelpful in giving any information about their use.

Classic pincers, best quality
Classic carpenter's pincer (though without the ball and claw on the ends of the handles), with the substantial weight and leverage that you sometimes need for pulling nails. The quality is everything you expect from Knipex, and these pincers should last for generations. They cost quite a lot, of course, but they are good value for money.
