Broken port on VCR

The VCE was packed well in the carton, not damage indicated on the carton, but the "Out to TV" port was broken off. I sorted through the peanut packing inside the carton, but the broken off piece was not found. With the port being broken off, the VCR is worthless. I am not able to connect to the tv. Do I have any options?
