Love the rod. Paired great with the mgxtreme2! Very impressed with the shipping speed and even more impressed with the quality&care of the packaging.

Nice reel out of the box for the money
Great reel for the price. However I had to do quite a bit of maintenance to it to get it to work right. Right off the start it developed a bad reel/ bearing screech. I had to thoroughly clean out the packing grease and oil from the bearings and relube to get rid of the screeching noise it made when casting. After that it seems pretty flawless. Haven't pulled anything in over 4 lbs yet so I can't comment on the drag yet....
