The TELO is FINE...AT&T is the Problem
This is the second TELO I ordered in the past 7 months, AND it have the SAME Problem as the FIRST one. Ooma can't figure out what's wrong, and I have AT&T Fiber (1 GB) and AT&T REFUSES to send anyone out since they feel their Modem is working FINE. I'm at the pointnwhere I CANCEL my AT&T & look for another Internet carrier that supports VOIP. Obviously AT&T DOESN'T.
I changed from Comcast for the AT&T since it was Faster & Cheaper. I had Comcast for 8-9 years, NO PROBLEMS with Internet, TV, & VOIP phone.However, they kept raising the price & when I Disconnected, I was payiong $175/mo. The AT&T was $100, BUT they suggested Ooma TELO since they didn't offer VOIP phones in the package.
The TELO works FINE, "BUT" pauses on Incoming & Outgoing calls Randomly for a minute or so. Callers hang up, unless I've warned them & they hang on. Once the Pause is over, everything is Fine again. Like I said above, AT&T REFUSES to get involved, & Ooma hasn't any idea what's Wrong. I have recabled the TELO numerous times, & it's with 4 feet of the Modem. Still FAILS!!
