Great Buy Easy to Operate
3 of 3 found this helpful FixD - Excellent product. Very straight forward to use. I've used it on 5 vehicles within the same month of receiving and it works seamlessly on all. Clears check engine light with the tap of a button. However, once engine light is cleared, scanner no longer detects the faulty code that triggered the check engine light in the first place. Clearing the check engine light does NOT solve the problem. It should be able to pull up faulty codes regardless if check engine light is on, cleared or never came on at all. I don't know if that's a design flaw or unavoidable once engine light is cleared.
Apart from that, I find this product to be the most useful since everything is done through the app. Allows you to test battery voltage and keep track of other wear and tear items such as tires. Price is reasonable as well. There are cheaper scanners out there but for the little extra, this is one that will be worth it. Regular app update also adds to its value over time. Highly recommended.

Works as intended. Maybe a few extra pads would be nice. Price and value is balanced.

Takes too High GPM flow rate to activate
I would not recommend this to anyone with more than 1 shower. Pressure was low. Even though pressure on the cold side was high. Could not supply more than 1 shower at the same time despite shower head being 1.25GPM. Temperature rise at full rate is adequate. Needs at lease 1/2" Gas line to be hot enough. It's a magic trick to get the hot water to run constant when you try to mix with cold water for a warm shower instead of a too hot shower. The biggest draw back is that it needs too high of a flow rate to activate and keep running. It also seems to not have enough pressure to supply more than 1 shower and a faucet. Sometimes have to run the faucet and the shower together to keep the flow rate high enough so the hot water keeps coming. Big disappointment. However, the seller went above and beyond to help. Calls/text with answers to all questions. He was on the phone helping me to troubleshoot it. I even had to remove all the constrictors from all the faucets so that the flow rate will be high enough to keep the hot water running. Will not recommend this brand to anyone. At least not while 16L is their largest line and flow rate being so high. Price was competitive but not worth the savings. Search for something with a low GPM activation flow rate.
