They really do work!
I'm a hygienist and have done professional whitening for many patients over the years. I was very skeptical that these could work, but I decided to give them a try on my oldest teen son a couple years ago, and I was amazed that he really did get good results - we used 2 boxes, each with 20 treatments, and his teeth lightened considerably, even though his yellowing was due to natural coloring of his enamel and not because of staining from food or beverages. Natural coloring is much more resistant to whitening products. So I'm a believer. My middle son just got his braces off - we've finished one box and he's definitely noticeably lighter, so we'll do one more box and that should be it. There was some slight sensitivity for my oldest on his lower teeth - we just backed off on those teeth and resumed a few days later whenever it happened, until he finished up with the treatments. So the lowers took a couple extra weeks to finish, but the results were great, and truly amazing for an over the counter product. Highly recommend these, and much less expensive than in-office whitening products. Wish I had taken before and after pics, but trust me on this one - they work fantastic and my teen boys are very pleased with the results!

Very good, riveting series for tweens and older grade schoolers
1 of 1 found this helpful My 5th grader has been so absorbed in this series and has at times read one book every two days. I'm reading the adult series, and my son keep asking me parallel questions about the characters, wants to know if I'm ahead or behind him, etc. He's more than half way through the series now, so we're at about the same point in each series. I'm glad to give him good quality books filled with adventure that point him toward the Bible and help him to learn more about prophetic Biblical events. I like how the books use the fictional storylines to illustrate examples of how the real prophecies might possibly take place in a modern society.

Not what you'd expect
I purchased this devotional for my 15 year old Star Wars fan as a Christmas gift. After receiving it and looking through it further before I wrapped it, I decided to order another one for my 17 year old, who is also a huge SW fan. Shortly after Christmas, my 13 year old (yes, also a big SW fan, lol), said he'd been reading his brother's book and asked me if I would buy him one that he could keep as his own copy. I was impressed. The book uses a little humor here and there, and is written very clearly - easy to understand, but I didn't feel too "childish". The author takes scenarios, characters, and situations from the movies, and then compares and contrasts them with biblical and faith concepts. I was skeptical when I saw the book title, wondering if it would trivialize the Bible or somehow diminish its sacredness, until I read the sneak peek pages on the listing and then more after receiving it in the mail. I feel it's written well. I think it's a great tool to get young SW fans drawn more into exploring the Bible and making more sense of God's Word.
