Light but Powerful
1 of 1 found this helpful This must be one of the easiest engines to use. The centrifugal clutch along with the twist grip throttle means one handed operation. It is very easy to bring a boat alongside a pontoon etc lovely slow tickover. I have just bought this engine but I owned the 2hp Honda for 16 years so I know they last well. I get 2.5 hours running at just under 1/2 throttle from a full tank. I bought my engine from Pacer Marine who had prepared it to a high standard.

Lightweight but packs a punch
For its size and weight it's quite powerful, pushing my Cornish Adventure quite easily. I like the clutch lever being easily accessible and also the long tiller.

Useful replacement battery
With the tabs on its ends it makes soldering wires onto the battery easier. Battery gave good output and retained its charge well.
