The Lost Museum: The Nazi Conspiracy To Steal The World's Greatest Works Of...

The unbelievable tale of robbers who thought of themselves as art lovers
We all know by now the Nazi's looted art in occupied countries. But to know to what extend, you HAVE to read this book. It is an unbelievable tale of robbing, collaboration of art dealers with the Nazi's, and personal gain of the people involved. To think that thousands of art work never ever were seen again, is mind boggling. When I read this book, the big question in my mind was: how did they have time to go to war, when there was a whole army needed to steal art all over Europe! Read it, read it!

Reading The long-winded lady, with her life-ending in mind, is bittersweet. You walk with her through the streets of New York. Compelling and tragic.
The Travelling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa 9780857524195 (Paperback, 2017)

Must read for cat lovers and cat haters, so the latter become cat lovers. Deeply moving
Cats can think, and in this book cats can talk. They seem to have a great understanding of our character, however, they are convinced we do not understand theirs. Contrary to what we think. The story is compelling, you travel trough the eyes of the cat, the man and his friends. You see Japan, learn some habits, and at the end you cry. Like you've lost some friends... A must read!
