Tracy Borman- The King’s Witch.
1 of 1 found this helpful By nature, I am not a novel reader, but have enjoyed other factual books by Tracy Borman, so I thought I would read The King’s Witch- and it is wonderful!
It’s so rich in detail that you can almost smell the locations- from the herb gardens, to the stench of the Thames, and the perfume from a child princess’ hair.
I could put it down, I wanted to read Frances’ story, but I didn’t want it to end.
Tracy Borman has inspired me to look deeper into this troubled time in English history- off King James’ fascination into the threat of witchcraft and the Gunpowder plot.
I cannot recommend this book, highly enough.
