Good solid base!
It came with decent enough velcros and the metal is solid but good alloy so light. Fits into a laptop bag!

they are what they are. not great but the only option
rockschool books always have a taint of cheese and cliche about them but its the cliche that allows access to certain phrases needed to be able to play. glad to see the grade 8 is a little more challenging than on the old sylabus and incorporates harmonics too. on the whole not bad. bottom line is that unless you use them to teach, put a student through an exam or to pass yourself then there are great songs already out there which stretch far beyond the requirements of grade 8 and will cater for personal taste. the new sylabus does however sound much better than the last one.
