Good while it worked

This item arrived quickly and efficiently on 13/07/19. It installed easily and worked very well until last week. Then it started to intermittantly drop out and the only way to get it to re-connect was to unplug it and plug it in again. It became more erratic every day and then yesterday (18/09) it gave up all together and no longer works. Not happy. Away to find a replacement. Gave one star because I couldn't give it less

Ok but.....

Works fine. It would have been better if it could have been supplied with instructions that were in English. I might have had an idea of how much fuel to use to keep it going for over an hour. On the plus side, it does heat up quickly (much quicker in fact than the charcoal rod type) but it has to be kept in it's bag to make it comfortable to use.

Does a basic job

If you want a reasonable priced, well fabricated grinder that can take a lot of metal off quickly and easily this is for you. However I bought this because I wanted the wide grinding wheel for sharpening wood turning chisels. The wheel itself seems ok but the speed of the unit is high, meaning that it is very easy to overheat the chisel or grind too much off.
