A study of a classic lyricist of the great American songbook. And a look beneath the surfact
This book is rich with recollections by friends and rare family photos from Larry Hart's sister-in-law Dorothy Hart who put the whole book together. A walk back through the golden age of Broadway and Tin Pan Alley.

A Fascinating Life Behind a Prolific Screenwriter and Biographer.
From her birth in New York to her move to Los Angeles as a child Anne Edwards' life ascended from child performer to teenage writer at MGM to a prolific biographer and screenwriter. Many romances; some jet setting to international locations, a busy writing career while raising two children she produced some serious studies of people she knew from Streisand to Garland to Vivien Leigh. Sixteen or more biographies including Lady Di, Queen Elizabeth, and Margaret Mitchell. She even produced a sequel to the novel Gone With the Wind at the request of 20th Century Fox. In the 1950's she was blacklisted and joined expatriates in London before her return to America and her eventual home in Beverly Hills.
