A very low cost upgrade with high value results.
I purchased this and slid it into my 2009 BMW X5 and viola...it worked. There was no additional steps needed. I immediately took a 500 mile road trip and it worked great. Not much more to say...I feel good that I am upgraded from a 2009 database to a 2015. It would be great to get newer data but this is the end of the road, the newest available. My only complaint is a minor one...it took a long time for it to arrive, close to two weeks. That being said it was worth the wait.
