Niles Speaker zone selector
Niles and Audioplex made very similar units, with quality components, especially the transformers and level controls. They perform well with little power lost while keeping the impedance well within the specified limits.
Overall it is well constructed, the only exception being the pins that connect the removable phoenix connectors to their sockets. Having the connectors removable is a good idea and makes for an easier install, but you have to be very careful not to bend the pins when inserting the connectors. They are made of soft, small gauge wire and are much too flimsy to work as locator pins.
