Simple installation

Does the job
1 of 1 found this helpful Received the train in good time - and was eager to test it after reading several reviews regarding the train motor
The first (cheap) batteries I put in turned the wheels, and played the sound... but did not power the train enough to move under its own weight
- changed the batteries for “Power” batteries, and the train zips around (a little too fast!)
Had to add the carriages (and a little weight) to stabilise the train.
This is a Christmas ornament that moves... it provides “joy” to children (and the child-minded!) - I wouldn’t recommend this as anything else - certainly not an “everyday” toy.
It looks the part - toy like appearance for the festive period.... not intended to be put on (or near) a serious train set!
There is no way to silence the train and have it move... it all or nothing. The sounds are loud, and do get annoying (for the adults) after a short while!
