300 DVD
This is a great movie. It probably isn't a movie that you would let a little kid watch, because it has alot of blood and gore in it. Alot of the movie is actually true, like at the beginning when it tells how the spartans became warriors and other parts of the movie. It will tell you what parts are true and what parts are fiction in the special features area of the DVD. This movie follows the story of king Leonidas (from birth to death). In the movie the so called gods want let Sparta raise an army to face the Persian invaders lead by god-king Xerxes. So King Leonidas takes 300 of his best soldiers to face the invaders. When he finally meets Xerxes, Xerxes thinks that he can not be defeated or even feel pain. So king Leonidas promises him that he will feel pain. Although this movie doesn't have any big name actors, they play their parts amazingly well. I would definatly recommend this movie if you are a fan of action packed movies. If you are the type that gets sick easily when you see alot of blood or body parts flying every where, this probably isn't the movie for you.

WOW!!!!
This is an excellent and must see movie. It starts in action and ends with action. It's got Gerard Butler in it so I knew that it would be extremely action packed. The storyline is excellent, it kept me interested all the way to the end of the movie. The acting is great, both Gerard Butler and Frank Darabont do an excellent job. This is a movie that you will want to watch over and over again. I would definitly recommend that you buy or rent this movie. A little summary... When a home invasion robbery turns deadly, the lone survivor will stop at nothing to avenge his lost loved ones. Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is a family man whose wife and daughter are murdered during a home invasion. When the killers are caught, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a Philadelphia prosecutor, is assigned to the case. Nick offers one of the suspects a light sentence in exchange for testifying against his accomplice. Ten years later. The man who got away with murder is found dead and Clyde Shelton coolly admits his guilt. Then issues a warning to Nick: Either fix the flawed justice system that failed his family, or key players in the trial will die. Soon Shelton follows through on his threats, orchestrating from his jail cell a string of assassinations that can be neither predicted nor prevented. Philadelphia is gripped with fear as Shelton's high-profile targets are slain one after another and the authorities are powerless to halt the terror. Only Nick can stop the killing, and to do so he must outwit this brilliant sociopath in a harrowing contest of wills in which even the smallest misstep means death. With his own family now in Shelton's crosshairs, Nick finds himself in a desperate race against time facing a deadly adversary who seems always to be one step ahead.

Very Good
When I first started watching this movie I didn't think that I was going to like it. It starts off kinda like a weird sci-fi documentary and COPS combined into one weird sci-fi movie. But once it really got into the movie the more I liked it because it kinda went away from the whole documentary style movie. I was really surprised, because I was about to just stop watching it when it changed styles. It ends up being a really action packed movie with a lot of blood and gore like people exploding, body parts flying off, etc. The only thing that I did not like about this movie was the language. Once it got into the movie it was just none stop f words all the way. I would recommend watching this movie if you are an adult, but I wouldn't let a child watch it. Here is a little summary... Humans waited for the hostile attack, or the giant advances in technology. Neither came. Instead, the aliens were refugees, the last survivors of their home world. The creatures were set up in a makeshift home in South Africa's District 9 as the world's nations argued over what to do with them. Now, patience over the alien situation has run out. Control over the aliens has been contracted out to Multi-National United (MNU), a private company uninterested in the aliens' welfare - they will receive tremendous profits if they can make the aliens' awesome weaponry work. So far, they have failed; activation of the weaponry requires alien DNA. The tension between the aliens and the humans comes to a head when an MNU field operative, Wikus van der Merwe (Sharlto Copley), contracts a mysterious virus that begins changing his DNA. Wikus quickly becomes the most hunted man in the world, as well as the most vauluable - he is the key to unlocking the secrets of alien technology. Ostracized and friendless, there is only one place left for him to hide: "District 9".
