Charming Funny Film
I have never heard Sean Connery mention he featured in this film and given that he later became James Bond I suppose it's not a surprise. A Bond film it's not.
It is not in any way a modern film, there is no flashy editing or racy plot, cars catching fire or explosions,that is not a criticism, it's a compliment.
The film is an enchanting story about folklore,ambition,cunning and for the romantically inclined there is a love interest as well. The plot is very funny and the special effects are hilarious in a laugh out loud , screech with laughter way.
I was given this film as a Christmas present and I have to admit it's now one of my favourite films.
