Bright lights, big city
I bought this diffuser to use when I am taking indoor flash pictures of items I am going to list on Ebay. I find that too many times a bare flash ruins an otherwise good shot with too much light being reflected back to the camera.
When I first tried this diffuser I was somewhat disappointed with the results. Even with the diffuser attached I was still getting harsh reflections off what I was attempting to photograph. I found a temporary solution by using a couple of napkins between the flash and the diffuser. For the closeup work I do, setting up a couple of studio lights works even better, but then I have to mess with setting things up and taking things down after I shoot the pictures. That's
fine if I have a lot of shooting to do, but for a quick few shots, I want a simpler solution, and the diffuser generally can be made to work for my needs. I would guess that it would work a whole lot better when shooting scenes of people, or from longer distances. All in all this is an inexpensive addition to my camera gear that I am able to fold up and carry in my camera bag for the times I need a reflector or diffuser while I'm out and about. I highly recommend this item.

Olympus 18-180mm
I picked this lens up used on ebay for a fraction of what it sells for new. The lens looks and operates just fine, and I am pleased with its performance. These long zooms are a nice class of lens for photographers like me. In one lens I have everything I need, from a Macro to a long telephoto lens. I enjoy the freedom of not having to worry about changing from one lens to another right in the middle of a shoot. It always seems that when I have a short zoom mounted I need a long zoom to capture the shot I want, and visa-versa. Another advantage of not having to change lenses in the field is that I don't have to worry about dropping one or the other that I am changing. I am a casual photographer and I like to shoot outdoor scenes, flowers, old cars, and trains, so this lens does everything I need it to do with enough sharpness and quality of image to impress me. So there you have it; I really like this lens, and I'm glad a bought it.

Good Value "all-in-one" camera
The only complaint I have with this camera is the lcd/evf screens making focusing difficult in bright sunlight. Relying on the auto-focus can sometimes result in out of focus shots, especially when trying to capture macro imaging. Overall this is a good "Swiss knife" camera capable of giving the user a long reach and movie abilities in a compact size that is easy to carry all day.
