Not just for PS4
Successfully connected my expensive Xbox 360 / Turtle Beach XP500 headphones to Xbox One S controller and console. Full sound / full wired chat . . .previous connecting cables did not work for in game/party chat, this one works perfectly . . .

Did not work with XBox One S
Bought this to connect my expensive Xbox 360 / Turtle Beach XP500 to my Xbox One S controller for chat (3.5 to 2.5mm direct cable) however it did not work as required (no 2 way chat). I think this product is to be used in conjunction with the earforce adaptor that plugs into the USB on the previous model Xbox One controllers and NOT the latest variant. You need to purchase the PS4 Talkback cable with inline volume control to facilitate wired chat with these Xbox 360 headphones.
