Good parts, but expensive.
Quality and condition of parts were excellent, just very expensive for what they are. Parts prices for order motorcycles in general have increased by a higher percentage than other goods over the last 10 years or so, to the point where a lot of restorers of older machines can no longer justify their hobby. Sadly this will inevitably see less machines restored with a consequent drop in demand for these parts.

Typical Heljan issues.
Like most Heljan diesels, careful running-in is required along with lubrication. Thankfully Heljan have learnt from the Class 17's with their lack of clearance on the wormwheel shaft bearings causing binding and motors to burn out, this has the same design transmission but has over a mm of endfloat play in the wormshafts! Motor draws a LOT of current when running-in, be careful of power loading if fitting a DCC chip! Other than that, a finely detailed model.
