A fan of the TV series but not the book.

I know Thomas Disch's story is a re-imagining of the TV series but it strays too far from McGoohan & Markam's TV series. Didn't like the use of Americanisms in a quintessentially English story. It's very much like the US TV series. The final story is just a conversation. Nothing else. Tried to struggle through the book but gave up. I've been a fan since the TV series. Not impressed with the book. It won't grace my bookshelves.

Adhesive doesn't.

Sadly, despite scrubbing the dash with hot soapy water and carefully drying before using, the 'adhesive dash mount disks' didn't stick. It may be that they have changed the adhesive as the previous TomTom ones I had stuck extremely well.

Badly designed and made.

Parts didn't fit together - quarter inch gap between back and seat sides. The bolt fitted if you overtightened it bending the metal frame. Support for seat cushions was nylon webbing, the sort you get around parcels. It's a very poor immitation of the similarly priced Ikea chair.
