Multi featured but with some annoying quirks

Consistent winner of the Which? magazine best microwave, I'm guessing for it's cooking performance but it has quite a few annoying quirks compared to my previous (different brand) model. The buttons are not very responsive so quite often you find yourself having to press multiple times. The quick 30 secs takes unnecessary extra presses. The (noisy) fan often carries on for quite a while after use. It says it's to cool down the heating elements yet this can happen after simply using the microwave feature for 45 seconds? All this adds to extra energy use. I guess I'll get used to it but probably would have looked at other models too before purchasing.

Works but very poor build quality

Bought this to replace one that lasted me 20 years. The minute I took it out of the box I could see the build quality was very poor. It's so lightweight it slides around on the work surface. The tray the eggs rest in is so thin, lifting 7 large eggs by the handle alone would most likely snap it. The pin that pricks the eggs is too fat so lots of egg oozes out when they are boiling (I use the pin from my old machine). I can't see this machine lasting very long. Pay a bit more and get a better quality machine.
