Not as safe as could be.
These can be opened without knowing the code so be wary. Took me less than 10mins without any experience with just a pen! Best fit them where they can be hidden out of site.

Nice little trays. Steering wheel may just need a bit of angle adjustment to get the tray dead level if necessary, but otherwise they're good ;)

Waste of a good hour just trying on one rear light!
Where do I start? From the off, I noticed multiple cracks in the mesh from where it had been folded into a flat rectangle for delivery. WRONG...should be rolled and it a protective cardboard tube.
Having thrown away half the mesh due to this I found (OR THOUGHT I HAD) a couple of pieces big enough to wrap around my Espace's rear tail lights. WRONG. As I'd polished my lenses nicely, the glue grabbed like a bugger and the mesh ripped when trying to lift and reapply when more faulty tears were. The adhesive also LEFT RESIDUE all over the lens which meant repolishing it as it didn't wipe off.
I TRIED WAXING the lens but it still wasn't enought to stop the adhesive "grabbing" too much. The test piece left residue and tore again on a weak spot when gently lifted.
I tried a 3RD TIME and got again what I thought was a good piece. 2/3rds acrosd the lens it was going better. Then I needed to apply gentle heat but the hairdryer found another tear which shrunk and caused a hole to appear. It got ripped off in anger and the lens cleaned yet again to get rid of the adhesive residue.
4TH time lucky??? NO CHANCE. More holes found when I again got over half way across the lens which only showed up when the mesh was bent a bit. I tried to apply the ripped bit but it wouldn't lie perfectly flat and you could tell it would lift or get ripped if a rag was wiped over it at a later stage when cleaning it.
THE WHOLE LARGE SHEET USED AND NOT 1 LENS COVERED. What a waste of my time and effort. I haven't left feedback yet but have emailed the seller.
If sent rolled up then most of the problems wouldn't have happened. In some situations you may want strong adhesive (windows of perfectly flat surfaces where tepositioning isn't usually needed), but I certainly didn't and it made the cracks in the film rip every single time.
