Excellent value,ideal for crafts/reading/sewing, etc, and looks good too.

This replaced my old floor standing light, and I was immediately impressed with the good weight of the base. This has got a nice sturdy "pole" which screws together easily, making a nice rigid body. The head has got a stylish stainless steel bendable arm which allows the light to be directed just where it is needed. It is tall enough to be placed behind our upright style sofa, and the overall look of the lamp is very pleasing. The daylight, energy saving bulb gives off a very pleasant light. This knocks spots off my old lamp, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if ever I needed a second one. It came really well packed too, so no problems with damage. Having looked hard at the style of lamps available, I am really glad that I chose this one.
