A brilliant tool that does it all.
This is a brilliant tool. It has worked with 9 and 10 speed chains as it is adjustable for the different widths. It has handles that are just long enough and covered in a softish rubber so that it is not painful (or impossible) to use enough pressure to force the pins out. I've tried it on several spare chain sections both removing and replacing pins. It can also hold the chain tight enough to allow you to bend a link sideways to loosen it. It has the wee wire to hold the 2 ends of a chain together so you can use both hands to join a link.
Does it all and light enough to carry. Beware of expensive imitations!

Unreliable.
Temperamental. Will synch, won't synch. No messages just wee whirring symbols. It please itself and doesn't tell you whats happening or not or offer any help.
