The best book about Errol Flynn that wasn't written by Flynn himself.
Probably the best book about Errol Flynn - after his own memoirs, MY WICKED, WICKED WAYS. The amount of detail is incredible and the rare pictures are excellent. This books gives you a detailed breakdown of Errol's life and for some films tells you which scenes were being filmed on which days. Full of incredible new facts, if you only buy one book about Errol Flynn you have to buy this one. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Bat Out Of Hell - The Making Of ................
If I had to pick my favourite album of all time it would be this one. BAT OUT OF HELL by MEAT LOAF. I bought it back in the 1970's purely because of the fantastic cover art. (Years later I wrote to the artist to ask him what had become of the original artwork and he actually replied!) Anyway, this DVD is "the making of" - everybody involved contributes - not just Meat Loaf but the reclusive Jim Steinman .........., the producers, the backing singers .... and they tell the fascinating story of how EVERYBODY turned the album down. Everybody. And it went on to sell, what, 30 million copies? Even more now. The DVD lets you hear the original recording tracks - watch as Meat sings along with himself, sounding EXACTLY the same. If you love the album - and most people do ....... you'll love this DVD. Hunt it down. Buy it. Love it.

The title says it all ....
1 of 1 found this helpful An excellent and enjoyable 70s series .......... five series of which are hosted by that great entertainer Jon Pertwee - famous for being the best Dr Who. Full of a wealth of British talent. It's great fun spotting actors taking part in the short murder mystery plays. Strange to see the panellists smoking in this day and age (and other attitudes from the previous century). I found each episode hugely enjoyable - and having watched it originally as a child, back in the mid 70s, I found I even remembered some of them. Rare and hard to find as a complete boxed set, I highly recommend this to all murder mystery fans. For Jon Pertwee fans and Doctor Who fans it is an absolute delight. You see Jon as he really is and you spot well known actors who have played key roles in Doctor Who all the time. Highly recommended.
