good quality, family friendly boardgame.
good quality, family friendly boardgame. Pirate themed. My kids (7 & 9) love it.

Fun game for a wide age range with excellent production values.
An excellent boardgame I can play with my kids (7 and 9) and my boardgame club as a shorter game. The production values are amazing with brightly coloured plastic parts, and very cute echidnas. It is very simple to pick up, but has reasonable tactical depth, with good opportunities to backstab your friends. Playtime says 10-20mins, but with 6 players it seems to take a bit longer than this. All you have to do is move the echidnas to collect your colour of bugs and deposit then on your tree stumps, but anyone can move any echidna, they can only move in certain paths, and can't move over each other.

Great expansion that speeds up the early part of the game
This is an expansion to terraforming mars, so you are only likely to buy this if you already enjoy the game. The best thing about this is that it speeds up the early phase of the game, kickstarting your engine so you get to the fun bit earlier. As such I would recommend it for any fan of the game as it can reduce the total time to play by maybe 30mins (we would all like to have unlimited time to play games, but reality does not cooperate)
