Does not work-use an electric blender instead
This blender bottle does not work for me, still have lumps when trying to mix protein powder. I purchased it because of the high ratings. I now mix my protein powder with milk using my electric Oster blender and it works like a charm. After less than10 seconds of blending the drink comes out smooth as silk. Don't waste your $$ on these various shaker bottles, just spend $29.99 and get a basic Oster blender which works great for smoothies too.

The South is a Place not a direction.
Good book , maybe. Depends what you expect. The key work in the title is Interdisciplinary. A little too academic for me. Found the text and sometimes content somewhat dull and boring. Still, the book gave insight into how the Backcountry of the South was settled and the influence from the Northern states. The unique, distinctive trait of being Southern becomes more clear. The phrase " the south is a place not just a direction ', becomes more understandable.
