Battery Issues
Unit did not come with batteries. The size and quantity of batteries required (3 AG 13, LR44 or similar) will not work with this unit. I was able to get it working by making a foil spacer, and adding a thicker battery to the three I bought. It says it needs 3 batteries but it would really need the thickness of 5 batteries to make it work correctly. It was cheap but I would like to know the actual batteries that would fit to make it work without having to rig it up. It doesnt appear that it will hold up well for a long time but I do not need a boresight except for every once in a while, so I guess this will work for that.

Quick bore cleaning
1 of 1 found this helpful I ordered 2 in different calibers. It works well for getting the bore cleaned up after shooting with rifles and handguns. I would still give a deep cleaning and run patches through every so often, but this is a good interim step between major cleanings.
