Cheap and powerful

For this price you're not going to be getting a particularly well built machine but it isn't bad. Quite powerful for this price range and feels robust. Does the job of stripping back wood better than my cheap orbital sander. Make sure to hold on tight!

Balanced sound after tweaking

This 2.1 soundbar sounds great and was easy to set up with my LG TV. I would recommend leaving the soundbar in Cinema mode and turning the subwoofer down a few notches as it can be overpowering. This soundbar has a decent midrange response instead of the usual "scooped" profile found in a lot of cheaper, modern audio devices. This makes speech a lot clearer. I was also surprised at how well this soundbar handles music over Bluetooth. It's not going to compete with more expensive soundbars in terms of clarity but it certainly offers decent, restrained audio for the money.

Doesn't work with Sky HD. Limited range.

Although well designed, this repeater has a very limited range. You have to point the remote directly at the receiver. Any angle off centre and it won't work. It seems to work OK with most of my remotes other than Sky HD. You have to be about 1m away with the Sky remote which renders it pointless.
