6 inches of side to side movement / wobble

wobbles side to side - 6 inches movement, not structurally a well designed product. the desk top also flexes downwards, and isn't fully flat so devices placed on the desk might not sit 'flat'. the laptop stand wobbles from side to side and I wouldn't trust it with anything valuable like a laptop. given it's intended use, I think this is a pretty dreadful design really - it clearly isn't suitable for placing even devices that have no significant moving parts like mixers or samplers etc - even more so for sensitive devices like a turntable or a CD deck where movement = ruined sound.
