About
I've been selling/buying on eBay for about 25 years - using 3-4 different accounts during that time.
Generally I'm just selling off bicycle frames / wheels / components / accessories that I no longer need - often at a SUBSTANTIAL discount! - so my eBay activity is a non-profit endeavor that keeps my garage from overflowing with cycling-related stuff! And I turn to eBay to find bike stuff that I want/need - especially for converting vintage 1970s bikes into functional and cool town bikes.
I also use eBay to collect Nut Tree (Vacaville, California) items; many of my best childhood memories are of time that I spent at The Nut Tree with my grandma.

They Simply Don't Work; Don't Waste Your Time
In the fall of 2018 I purchased 3 Serfas Apollo USB-rechargeable headlights. I don't think I used them immediately, but about 6 months later I attempted to charge and use them. I used a Serfas USB cable to charge the lights. When I initially plug the light in, it glows red for a few minutes, then the light goes out. When I unplug the light after an overnight charge, and then attempt to turn it on, nothing happens. They're completely useless.
Serfas has been pretty good about this problem; they sent me 3 replacement lights. However, the replacement lights do not work either. That's a 100% failure; I do NOT recommend that anyone buy these.

Not That Great
1 of 2 found this helpful I've been using Yakima and Thule racks for about 4 decades to carry bicycles, so I think I've seen quite a few different approaches to this task. The Yakima FrontLoader is somewhat below average in terms of function based on my experience.
The rear clamp really doesn't fit the aero crossbars on our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek very well at all. The rear clamp is adjustable, but one position is too loose, and the next adjustment is too tight. It sort of works, but it's not working optimally.
Secondly, the small-ish knob that tightens the small hoop to hold the front wheel is awkward as hell to tighten.
It did, however, seem to hold the bike securely once everything was in place. Also, the overall quality was reasonable.

Feels Like a $17, Made-in-Taiwan Chain Tensioner, Which Is About Right...
This was only $17 (+shipping), and it's worth about that. The pieces don't fit together precisely and the pulley is very sloppy on the shaft. Tightening the mounting bolt moves the coil spring off the derailleur tab unless you do a lot of fussing with it. For some reason, I'm finding removing/installing the rear wheel difficult with this installed.
In the long run, I think you'd be much better off spending 5x more for much, much higher quality (a Paul Melvin Chain Tensioner, for example) that would last 20x longer.
