A Great Book
This is a well illustrated and highly interesting book written by a crew member of the BRM Formula 1 team from the '50s to the early '60s. Salmon writes of the cars, team members and personalities of the times. If you have any interest in the glory years of Formula 1 before today's over paid primadonna drivers and multimillion dollar sponsorship deals this is a must have book. Highly recommended

A Fine Book for Racing Fans of the Period
If you are at all interested in racing in the period 1948-1965 this is a book for you. Illustrated with plenty of pictures of the cars and drivers who raced at Goodwood, the book follows the evolution of Goodwood from it's inception to the final important races of the mid '60s. The text and captions are well written and always interesting. Highly recommended
