The Willows at Christmas By William Horwood, Patrick Benson
    13 Sep, 2017
Lovely book and worthy of comparison with Kenneth Graeme's original
If you loved "Wind in the Willows" and want to spend some more time in the company of Toad, Rat, Mole and Badger, these books are for you. William Horwoood has got the atmosphere and characters just right and they stand up to more exposure and adventures.

Hours of fascinating reading for the shoe-buff.
Fascinating book, with all you need to know about the history and anatomy of shoes! I'll never own a pair of Laszlo's beauties, but I do appreciate my own English shoes better for knowing how they function and how they were made.

More user-friendly history from the "Victorian Farm" team.
A nice addition to the "Victoran/Edwardian Farm (etc)" series. Not as varied, but just as interesting as its predecessors.
