Good 1/4 Wave antenna that is reasonably priced
This antenna is intended to be mounted on a 38 mm OD tube. Good luck in finding that! I mounted it on a 1 1/2" mast and ran the coax thru the mast. It fits imperfectly. Sirio's FT-2 Fixing Bracket is recommended as a mounting bracket with a proper fit for the antenna. The assembly manual makes suggestions for setup in setting the length of the resonator and radials. Use an antenna analyzer to confirm the Standing Wave Ratio (SWR) for the frequency range intended before you put the unit into service. I found it challenging to effectively wrap the RF connector inside the antenna base to prevent water intrusion due to the design of the base component.
