Funny Car Experience (1999, VHS
Liked: Lots of video of funny cars from the 1980's , mostly from East Coast drag strips, but also some footage of eliminations from Bakersfield March Meet in CA. Video brought back lots of memories of funny cars I had forgotten about. If your a fan of funny cars from the 1980's, then you will probably enjoy this tape. Disliked: The company that produces these tapes tends to use the same video footage over and over again on different tapes. They put a different title on a tape, then use video from a combination of different tapes, to make a new video tape. I have collected several of the tapes and most of the video footage used on this tape, I had already seen on other tapes I had purchased. If you do not have several of their tapes, this will probably not be a problem. If you already have several of their tapes, be prepared to see some repeat footage that was used on previous video tapes. I purchased the tape because the price was low, I collect drag racing videos and I did not have have this tape in my collection. I think it was worth what I paid for it. The better tapes come from the Diamond P drag racing series of videos. I would recommend that anyone interested in purchasing drag racing videos, purchase the Diamond P videos. They make the Funny Car Experience video tape seem like a low budget copy.
