A golfers view of the Puma Phoenix Pom Pom Hat
Hat looked perfect for what I needed it for. As the colour way matches a particular Galvin Green windstopper jacket I have recently purchased. Upon delivery of the hat, it is quite a loose knit and not very thick. So it isn't really a useful winter hat. It isn't insulated and the wind blows straight through it. Even the folded part that is over the ears lets the wind through. I found this out the first time I wore it so I put it in my golf bag, as luckily I had my other Callaway Big Bertha beanie hat with me as well. Upon getting home I took Puma hat out of my bag and it had a bad pull from catching the velcro on my Galvin Green mittens. I blame this on the fact the hat is such a thin knit. So overall I'm very disappointed with the quality of this hat.

Sunglasses with a hidden twist
Great Oakley sunglasses that are very comfortable to wear. To me they are not in the same league as the metal frame with the precision engineering I'm so familiarly accustomed to with the Oakley brand though they aren't made to be. So they don't have that premium feel about them in my opinion. Though as they aren't made to be like that it's not really a negative.
What they do have though is a type of X-ray vision that can be useful in many ways. As these are the golf specific lens they give vision a pop to certain colours or in a differently described way they 'enhance' vision with certain colours. In this lens one of the colours they enhance is the browns of drying grass. This is to help golfers see the varying conditions of fairways and putting greens. Though they would be very useful for green keepers or gardeners. This is because they can allow you to see the early signs of dying grass/foliage. It is quite amazing how you can look at grass that appears to be nice and green, though put these sunglasses on and all of a sudden you can see the contrast of the green lush grass along with the patches of grass that are drying out that needs watering.
So overall I'm very happy with the sunglasses though don't expect them to block out lots of sunshine. If anything a very good lens for enhancing vision.
