A must-have for your Conniff collectioin or to start one!

Ray Co nniff's music and style is a legend in the music business. His arrangements and innovation blazed a trail. The quality of his music is unsurpassed and the recordings are flawless. I've loved his music and arrangements since I was a kid when dad brought home one of Conniff's albums, one of the first recorded in stereo. When his singers finally went vocal the enunciation was so perfect you could understand every word which is so often hard in a group setting. This album of both "Hollywood in Rhythm" b/w "Broadway in Rhythm" is brilliant. Though recorded in 1958, the quality comes through like it was recorded yesterday. Bravo to the recording engineer(s) and Mr. Conniff and his orchestra and chorus. Just fabulous!!!
