Poor performance
First of all,seller and service were excellent. Price was unbeatable. I chose Fiskars over other brands on sale because they seem to be gaining a reputation for quality tools, but I have to say I was disappointed with the performance of these grass trimmers. They struggled to cut lawn grass which my old -no brand name- trimmers cut through with ease. The adjustment nut was screwed down hard so I couldn’t tighten the cutting blades to make them work better, sharpening produced no better results either. I’m going to put this down to experience and try to find out who produced the old pair of trimmers which are still working so well and buy another pair.

Square deal.
Markings are clear, it’s accurate, it’s square to its base, small enough to be handy but big enough to be useful. Solid aluminium and nicely finished. Good too, well worth the price.
