If you only have one lens for your Sony A7 series camera, this should be it!
Experienced photographers have long suggested that the so called 'nifty fifty' should be the chosen focal length for a general walk-around lens. The 35mm focal length is nearer to the diagonal measurement of the full frame sensor of Sony's A7 range of cameras so is thus more appropriate if the eye's own perspective or field if view is what you're after.
This Zeiss Sonnar version is a cracking example of what a good quality general purpose lens should be. It is small, lightweight and offers superb image quality and colour rendition. A true bargain if you can find a low cost used one as I did....!
