Fast but Dark

This is a great addition when you're looking for a crash cymbal that has a darker tone. I love it. I've teamed it with the brighter toned Zildjian A Custom fast crash 16 inch and a powerful more full dynamic crash of the excellent Paiste Signature fast crash 18 inch. Plus a 12 Sabian 12 fast crash. The Zildjian K gives you another "gear" to go to that's different.

A wonderful story in blu ray and remastered CD

This is an incredible compilation package of blu ray and remastered CD of the best of one of America's greatest bands, Kansas. Mostly classically trained members are from the mid-West heartland, and even a lame Don Kirshner could see this band, with it's progressive capabilities and unique violin-led sound, presented something the American market, nor the world market, for that matter, had ever seen. The story explains the band's meager beginnings in Berryton, Kansas just outside of Topeka, and concentrates its story on the original members who drove the songwriting and performing level to the peak of success, up until the Point of No Return album. I don't want to give all the story away, but it sometimes happened that the band's largest commercial hits arose at the end of a recording session, almost by accident, or divine intervention, however one might interpret this. It's a real fun, entertaining story presented by the original band members... their ceaseless touring across the stark MidWest landscape, as they waited for their music to be communicated from their recording company's New York base to the world. Great story, great music. Fantastic blu ray/CD package.
