Great NAS for Plex Media Server
1 of 1 found this helpful This NAS drive is great. Hands down excellent for setting up a PLEX media server.
I had all of my movies on several drives hooked up to a Mac for my server.
Just one thing: When transferring movies, make sure both are hooked up the your network by hard wires. Not wifi on your computer.
I tried to transfer items via wifi and ran into a ton of problems. Corrupted files due to slow transfer speeds.
Once I did a hard reset and transferred via ethernet, everything went smoothly. The NAS is quiet for the most part and just hums along doing it's job.
