Well made energiser
Well made and good value. It even appears to use stainless steel for the screws that hold its case together and for the terminal posts, which I had not been expecting. I expect it will survive outside in our weather for a good few years. I have yet to see it shock any animals, but judging by the nice "click" the fence is making anything that touches the fence it is energising is in for a shock.

Cuts well, but the three section pole does not feel very robust
The saw cuts very well, and the motor/chain part feels very solid. But the pole when at full three section length feels quite bendy - it seems to flex at the joins and has a feel that it would not take much to break it at the joins.
But this is trade off between weight, reach, and convenience against strength.
Overall, after cutting down several high branches of 100mm diameter I feel it is good value and "does the job".
