The book was in good shape, but it had that awful smell of a book that had been poorly stored. Like the smell of a basement after it's been flooded. I could smell it though the mail pack when I opened my mailbox and after the fairly long wait for the book, I knew I wouldn't be able to get right into it, because i had to leave it out in the air in sun in hopes of getting rid of that smell.
