Interesting concept, poorly executed.
I really wanted this to be good. I really did. The themes the film explores were highly relevant when it was made but are even more relevant today. The problem with the film is twofold: the script and the performances. First, the script is clunky. Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn't. It starts to explore some interesting ideas and then fails to expand on them, leaving the viewer to wonder if there was anything there in the first place. Second, the performances were, at best, average. Some of the actors were downright poor to be honest. Rik Mayall is a fine actor when given the right material to work with but unfortunately even he couldn't lift the film – mostly because his character had the depth of a puddle. He was given so little to work with and his character was pretty unlikeable even when he did have something interesting to say. All in all, it was very disappointing because the basic premise of the story is intriguing and deeply relevant to events unfolding today. It could have been so much better.

Great Alternative To The Zoom RC4
As an alternative to the official Zoom RC4 which is expensive and difficult to get hold of in the UK, this unit is great. It does exactly what it says on the tin - allows you to remotely operate the H4n which eliminates the need to physically touch the unit to start, stop and pause recordings, etc. Completely eliminates that annoying handling noise. Highly recommended & very good value for money.

Very Useful Switch for Dynamic or Condenser Mic
I needed a way to quickly switch off my mic after recording to listen back on monitor speakers without getting feedback. This device does this quickly and easily. It's a great deal more convenient than switching off phantom power to the mic and/or physically disconnecting cables. It's a very niche product but if you need it, it's invaluable. Highly recommended.
