Clever Item that Keeps Children & Dogs out of Closets

I have dogs that can't wait for dinner time. After discovering one's ability to open the cupboard doors to get to the food, I put in "child proof" devices. Then I discovered that those devices only delayed the dog getting to the food. So I added a latch & hook mechanism -- no problem for the dog -- just another delay to getting the food. When I saw this item -- I decided to give it a try. Success! It is also perfect for the original intent.

I searched, and researched for the best cage not only in size -- but features as well. Hands down, this cage was the best I found for ease of cleaning and multiple openings to cage. I really appreciate the large door and how it is centered. The cage is great for my two parakeets. I liked it so well, I bought a second one for my two female canaries. Now I am waiting for a 3rd cage to arrive for my parrotlet.

A Trip Back in Time to a Horrific Era.

Issac Masin's life story is a trip back to terrible times in this country. It is beautifully written. He does not portray himself as a victim -- though he definitely is. He just presents the brutal facts of his life story. Every single slave has their own life story of horrendous cruelty and inhumane treatment of family members being torn away and sold to unknown fates. This story haunts me since he was a slave belonging to my ancestors. Makes me very ashamed and heavy with guilt.
