Not what I was hoping for.
3 of 5 found this helpful I've had wireless IP webcams before, so when I bought two of these, I expected them to install just the way my former webcams had. It turns out that there's no software with this camera, which means that there's no setup program to install it. Well, that isn't totally true. There is an "app" that you can download to your smartphone, provided that you own a smartphone. I don not own a smartphone and have no plans to buy one, so I am out of luck if I want to set these cameras up. I tried to download the app using a tablet, since I thought that might work, but that didn't work either. The app will only work on a phone. I think it would have been a really good idea to make this point known in the advertising. There is a brief mention of a smartphone, however, after having installed security cams in my home before, I had no way to know that a smartphone was the ONLY way to hook these up. I should have sent them back, but I didn't. I'll probably give them away or throw them away. They are useless to me. I would suggest that all buyers be extra aware when purchasing security cams like these. I've gone online a number of times trying to find the type of cams that I was originally looking for and it seemed like just about everything I found required a smartphone for setup. If you have a smartphone, that's great, but if you don't steer clear of security cams that mention them. I'll do more research the next time before buying a replacement.

Excellent desktop stand for my laptop
I've been wanting a desktop stand for my laptop for a long time. This one sounded perfect for what I wanted. It is a very sturdy stand and quite adaptable to whatever position you need to adjust it to. I wanted as bit more room on my desk, which is why I bought it. I like being able to get the laptop up and off of my desk so that I have room for other things. This stand finally let's me do that. It was very easy to assemble and it didn't require any assistance to attach it to my desk. I'm using the stand to hold my 17" HP laptop. The platform itself is plenty big enough for a laptop of this size. I've seen a lot of similar stands online that cost more, but I can honestly say that I don't think any of them are any better than this particular model. The clamps hold the stand quite firmly in place. It even has straps to hold USB and other wires coming into the laptop. I must say that it is even better than I had hoped it would be. If you need a desktop stand for your laptop, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend that you buy this one. It really is an excellent product.

A waste of money
The USB sockets were so shaky and wobbly that the USB connecters were falling out. USB connections were intermittent due to the loose sockets. For a few more dollars, I'd recommend buying a Hub with a respected and known bland name. These were very inexpensive, but I guess that you get what you pay for. They are too unreliable to use.
