Great adventure in Native America portraiture
Beautifully rendered collection of semi-interpretive drawings of Native American portraits from the early-mid 1800s. Gatlin was a master of western portraiture without peer rival, ahead of his time - disenfranchised by peer America for his efforts to preserve a vanquished and vanishing cultural heritage. His artwork is a national treasure, and this book is an historic masterpiece.
